Family Dollar is expanding its footprint across Alabama as the outlook for discount retail remains strong.
Florida-based Boos Development Group Inc. is helping the Matthews, N.C.-based retailer in its expansion, with more than a dozen new or in-the-works stores in the state, including about a half-dozen in Birmingham alone.
