MOBILE, Alabama – The Mobile Container Terminal is seeing no impact from the 2 percent drop in U.S. containerized imports for the month of April, according to port officials.

Alabama State Port Authority Chief Executive Jimmy Lyons said the slowdown in containerized imports is mostly due to a drop in consumer goods, which do not play a huge role in business in the Port of Mobile.
