Gov. Bobby Jindal has appointed Kathy Lammert of Metairie to the Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselors Board of Examiners. The 11-member board of Examiners “serves to examine all applicants for licensure as marriage and family therapists and recommend to the board each successful applicant for licensure, attesting to their professional qualifications to be a marriage and family therapist,” the governor’s office said Monday.
Lammert is a military program coordinator and lead therapist for the dual diagnosis inpatient program at River Oaks Hospital in Elmwood.
Jindal also reappointed Dustin Dowling of Baton Rouge, chief administrative officer of Peters Wealth Advisors.
