WASHINGTON — The Justice Department won’t prosecute Attorney General Eric Holder, the government revealed yesterday — even as a Republican lawmaker leaked secret details about the botched “Fast and Furious” gun-running investigation.

The House voted Thursday to find Holder in contempt of Congress for refusing to turn over documents in the Fast and Furious probe after President Obama invoked executive privilege to withhold the material.
