Three women who working at massage parlor-type businesses in Lexington were arrested late last week after an investigation into alleged prostitution.

The arrests, made in two separate actions on Friday, June 8, came as a result of Lexington Police investigations into information received from outside agencies, advertisements, online adult sites and citizen complaints, according to Lt. Det. Michael McLean. 

As a result of information obtained over a week or so, police sent an undercover officer into the establishments and confirmed employees were offering sexual services for a price in addition to their regular, legitimate treatments, McLean said.
