The Racine County Sheriff’s Department is investigating allegations of voter irregularities in the recall election on June 5.

A citizen reported on Monday that he found voter registration documents in a dumpster behind the Cesar Chavez Center to Racine County District Attorney Rich Chiapete. On Wednesday several people alleged voter irregularities at the Dr. John Bryant Center in Racine.

Chiapete turned the cases over to investigators with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department. However, the press release didn’t go into any further details.
