Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for armed robbery and assault (see attached video). 

The sheriff’s department on Wednesday released surveillance video of a robbery that occurred around 9:45 p.m. on April 29 at an Arby’s restaurant at 10220 Two Notch Road.

According to Lott, an unknown suspect pointed a gun at the victims and demanded money from the registers. Before going to the registers, the suspect hit one of the victims in the face with an open hand. 

Lott added that the suspect stole an unspecified amount of cash and fled the business
