FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) – The Texas Republican Convention began with a carol of boos, prolonged and loud, for Gov. Rick Perry – a former Republican presidential claimant and a longest-serving administrator in state history. It finished with dual opponents for a GOP’s U.S. Senate assignment slugging it out in dueling building speeches.
